The Allen-Bradley 1770-KFDG DeviceNet RS-232 PC Interface Module provides a compact and portable interface that connects host computers via RS-232 serial ports to DeviceNet networks. Utilizing the Common Industrial Protocol over CAN, it facilitates smooth communication between PLCs and various control devices, enhancing data exchange and system control in industrial automation. The module includes an integrated power adapter (11–25 VDC input, 300 mA operating current), a 5-pin DeviceNet connector, and a 9-pin RS-232 D-sub connector. It supports DIN rail mounting and comes with a 6-foot null modem cable, operating reliably from 0 to 50°C and 5–95% non-condensing humidity.
