Allen-Bradley 1770-RG
The Allen-Bradley 1770-RG Report Generation Module enables efficient two-way communication between PLC-2 processors and RS-232-C peripherals. It supports up to 198 stored messages, which can be displayed manually or automatically via peripherals or programmed logic. Compatible with various 1770 terminal models, the module allows real-time message storage, editing, and deletion alongside program execution. Features include a real-time clock, intelligent printer interface, fault detection, adjustable baud rates, and DIP switch-configured communications. Operating at 1 Amp @ 5 VDC, it fits any 1771 I/O chassis slot except the left-most. The module has two cable connectors, five LED indicators, and functions within 0–60°C and 5–95% RH.
