Allen-Bradley 1771-ID
The Allen-Bradley 1771-ID is a discontinued digital input module from the PLC-5 1771 I/O series. It features Eight (8) discrete input channels designed to interface with DC voltage signals. This module is compatible with sourcing input devices and is typically used in applications that require detection of DC signal states such as pushbuttons, limit switches, or proximity sensors. Operating at standard logic levels, the 1771-ID is ideal for general-purpose digital input needs in industrial automation systems.
It installs into a single slot of a 1771 I/O chassis and connects to the PLC-5 processor via the backplane. Like other 1771 modules, it uses a wiring arm for quick field wiring connection and easy replacement. It is suitable for use in environments where 5V TTL logic levels are present.
