Allen-Bradley 1771-M3
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1771-M3 stepper controller module is part of the PLC 5 product line. It is designed for use in a complete servo positioning assembly alongside a servo expander module with two wiring arms. The 1771-M3 installs in a Bulletin 1771 I/O chassis, occupying a single slot, and supports up to three expander modules simultaneously. It communicates with these expanders via the chassis backplane. The module must not be installed in the same chassis as another stepper controller to avoid errors.
