Allen-Bradley 1772-LE
The Allen-Bradley 1772-LE is a discontinued PLC-2 processor control module, part of the NLE-1 family. Designed for rack-mounted industrial control systems, this open-style module features a PCB board layout and serves as a central processing unit within early PLC-2 architectures. Engineered for mounting in standard I/O racks, the 1772-LE was widely used in legacy automation applications to execute logic, manage input/output operations, and interface with peripheral devices. Though obsolete, it remains critical for maintaining and supporting older Rockwell Automation systems still in service.
