Allen-Bradley 1784-KTX
The Allen-Bradley 1784-KTX is a legacy communication interface card designed for ISA-bus PCs, enabling direct communication with Allen-Bradley PLC systems via DH+, DH-485, and Remote I/O networks. This half-size ISA card functions as both a scanner and adapter, supporting direct connections to PLC-2 and PLC-3 controllers. With a current draw of 600 mA at 5V DC, the 1784-KTX was widely used for programming, monitoring, and data exchange in industrial automation environments prior to PCI-based upgrades. Though discontinued, it remains vital for legacy system support and integration.
