The Allen-Bradley 3170-MBS is a Modbus Slave Network Interface Adapter by Rockwell Automation, tailored for the Flex IO series. Occupying just one slot, it supports up to 8 Rockwell interfaces, and boasts dimensions of 3.7 x 3.7 x 2.7 inches. This adapter withstands 30g operational shock and requires an external 12-24V DC power supply, drawing 20 mA at 5V on the backplane.
